Tonight Tonight!

Dear Visitors,

Tonight’s the night! Just a few final details to alert you to:

- Running order is on the sidebar to the right. We will be following this as closely as possible, so if you want to see all three bands please arrive promptly!

- Don’t forget we’re serving hot tasty food all night – try it out!

- Although the Market is covered, it will be a bit chillier than, say, a pub – so make sure you come suitably attired..

- The entrance for tonight is the main Market entrance on the high street. We should have an advertising board making it nice and clear.

- Don’t forget that if you’re wearing an item of corduroy clothing you’ll get your first drink free.

See you there!

Tomorrow Tomorrow!

Dear Visitors,

Excitement mounts here at Tooting Towers as we prepare to welcome Bear Response Team and Professor Penguin to the second Nights at the Market.

In case you haven’t yet heard anything by our stellar headliners, here is their recent single, ‘Pilot’. It’s bloody beautiful.

Hopefully see you there tomorrow! 8.45pm sharp folks!

Yours anticipatorily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Running Order Confirmed

Dear Visitors,

The running order for the night has been confirmed. For anyone supposing that, as resident band, PSB will always play last, please take note that we’re going on first on Saturday and turning the spotlight over to the mighty Bear Response Team and Professor Penguin, who will dazzle and excite.

It is as follows:

8.45pm - Doors. DJ Robin The Fog (continues inter- and post-bands)

9pm - Public Service Broadcasting

9.45pm - Bear Response Team

10.30pm - Professor Penguin

Don’t forget there will be food available all night, and if you come wearing an item of corduroy clothing you’ll get your first drink free.

Advance tickets can be had for £3 from hello@thebrickbox.co.uk until Saturday morning, after that it’s £5 on the door. Still a bargain!

Yours excitedly,

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Robin The Fog, DJ Extraordinaire!

Dear Visitors,

We’re very excited to have confirmed good friend, ace DJ and all round good chap Mr Robin The Fog as our music-spinner for the 28th. Get ready for some rare gems, all on top of the finest music lineup south-west London has to offer!

He also does some fine spoken word stuff, our Robin – have a listen to this, Radio 4-featured short piece:

Flyer further down, get in touch if you have any questions – otherwise see you there, and get in early to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the fun!

Yours smokily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Flyer-By-Night(s at the Market)

Dear Visitors,

As we battle through this windy and bleak January, light at the end of the tunnel is in sight – in the form of the second Nights at the Market, on January 28!

A Facebook event is here for social media interactivity: http://www.facebook.com/events/364278506919938/

And the flyer has arrived and is featured below in technicolour glory:

Hope to see you there. There will be a Facebook event very soon, keep watching this space!

Yours pre-emptively,

J. Willgoose, Esq.
Head Curator, NatM

Lineup for 28th January

Dear Visitors,

Huzzah! I can confirm our full lineup for Saturday 28 January.

Events will kick off at 8.45pm with the following three bands:

9pm – Bear Response Team
London’s finest Popbeast Noisemakers

9.45pm – Public Service Broadcasting
Resident audio-visual informers & entertainers

10.30pm – Professor Penguin
Intricate, astonishing alt-pop

Once again myself and Wrigglesworth will be playing music before, between and after the bands so come on down for some winter cheer!

Yours snowily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Date For Your Diaries

Dear Visitors,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the next Nights at the Market will be held on January 28, 2012 – just after payday, so we can all hopefully afford to let our hair down.

I’m working on the lineup as we speak, but rest assured it will be two top quality guest acts as per usual plus us. I will confirm the details, flyer design etc as soon as possible.

In the meantime, why not become a friend of PSB on Facebook and / or join the PSB mailing list to receive all NatM-related updates.

Stay tuned for further details.

Yours anticipatorily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.
Head Curator, NatM

Thanks!

Dear Visitors,

A quick note to say a heartfelt thanks to everyone who came along on Saturday and helped make it a great night. And share a few photos, too, of course.

Thanks again and keep your eyes out for the next one!

Yours anachronistically,

J. Willgoose, Esq.

Tickets & Running Order

Dear Visitors,

We’ve sold a fair few advance tickets by email to hello@thebrickbox.co.uk so do email if you want a £3 rather than £5 entry fee. However at around 3pm today that’ll close and tickets will just be on the door – we’ll be setting things up from 4ish, hence the cutoff.

The Joker & The Thief’s Mr Josh is sadly still not at 100% following his appendicitis a few weeks back, so J & T will be performing as a two-piece with some assistance from their venerable third member should he feel up to it. Take my word for it, they will still absolutely rock your face off.

The running order has been tinkered with slightly to accommodate the above, so here it is:

8pm – DOORS

8.30pm – BORDEAUXXX

9.20pm – THE JOKER & THE THIEF

10.05pm – PUBLIC SERVICE BROADCASTING

11pm – Music and revelry to continue with Wrigglesworth on the 0s and 1s

All times are subject to change, and will slip later rather than earlier, depending on when the doors are opened.

Hope to see you there!

Yours hastily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.
Head Curator, NatM

Excitement Mounts

Dear Visitors,

Excitement here at PSB Towers mounts as we prepare to welcome our friends The Joker & The Thief and Bordeauxxx to the inaugural Nights at the Market event on Saturday 19 November.

Don’t forget you can get advance tickets for £3 a go by emailing hello@thebrickbox.co.uk. Here’s the Facebook event, too:

Lovely! Also don’t miss the small print – free first drink if you’re wearing an item of corduroy clothing!

Yours snappily,

J. Willgoose, Esq.
